IMMIGRATION CRISES In Springfield Ohio

In the small town of Springfield, Ohio, where the poverty rate is twice the national average, an influx of around 20,000 migrants have flooded the city in the last four years, causing a crises that is straining the city’s local services. Locals say it felt like it happened overnight.

Springfield News Sun reports that the rapid growth of the immigrant population is putting heavy pressure on city government, health care, schools, social services and nonprofits trying to provide assistance. Even the Mayor of Springfield, Rob Rue, said “Springfield is now saturated”.

His office says community hospitals are spending up to 50 thousand dollars a month in translation services. About 40 new students arrive in the district every week—many of whom do not speak English.

"You're seeing an increase in calls for service," says Springfield Police Chief Allison Elliot. "But officers are responding to calls where there are language barriers. Which then slows down our efficiency."

The Haitians had Social Security numbers and work permits, thanks to a Federal Program that offered them temporary protection in the United States. Some had been living for years in places like Florida.

Katie Kerch, senior attorney with Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, said many Haitians coming here go to Mexico and get a CBP One, a mobile app that allows users to request appointments related to immigration. That allows them to be legally processed into the U.S. through what’s called the parole program. They then typically obtain Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, which allows them to temporarily stay in the country. Others may apply for asylum, which is evaluated based on a person’s individual situation and if they were persecuted or have a fear of persecution, or for both TPS and asylum.

As Patriots of our Nation, we refer to them as illegal immigrants. These illegal Haitian immigrants did not come in the correct way, and have instead bypassed the process we have in place to cut in line, land into our country, and reap the benefits of our beloved nation.

Thanks to the United Nations’ “Protocol 1967” and then the“Refugee Act of 1980”, “Asylum Seekers” became a term used to justify illegal migration into our homeland. There is no limit to the number of people who can be granted asylum in the United States each year, but there are more than two million pending asylum cases in our country. The backlog of cases has led to long waiting times, with some asylum seekers waiting up to seven years for a decision. During that time, they get to reap the benefits of our Nation.

A resident of the city and GOP committee woman, Glenda Bailey says: “They have become the occupiers. What they've done is they've replaced the population in Springfield, Ohio.”

The crises is so bad, that City of Springfield and Clark County government officials are seeking help from the State and Federal levels.

According to Clark County Commissioner Sasha Rittenhouse, “The Federal government has allowed them to come into our country; most of them are here legally.”

But she fails to mention why they are considered “legal” in our country. She fails to mention the loopholes that have been created by left leaning politicians over time, and the Biden Administration today. And now, they are demanding that U.S. Citizens across the nation help fund this crises, when it is clearly an affliction of their own doing.

They caused this issue, and now they want every hard working U.S. Citizen to foot the bill.

Rittenhouse said the city needs financial assistance from the Federal government for the needs of immigrants that are flooding their community.

Yet, according to NPR:

Denice D. Williams, president of the Springfield NAACP, says the city is at a crossroads. “We desperately need population. For economic growth, you need population growth, and increases in productivity.”
This immigration boom, she says, could be exactly what Springfield needs.
“It will be good in the long run for our economy. It's just this transition period that I hope we can make it through. Can we make it through to the other side, to the benefits?"

If it is not clear enough already, this is the issue:

  1. Democrats, like the mayor of Springfield, Ohio, make the claim that illegal immigration will help our economy.

  2. They advocate for policies which open the doors for the influx of illegal migration.

  3. These policies, when passed, end up creating a crises in local communities and states in form of higher prices in housing, higher prices in groceries, more crime, and strained public services that are meant to be for U.S. Citizens.

  4. The crises demands for “assistance” from the Federal Government, which only means hard working U.S. Citizens end up footing the bill in Tax dollars, because this assistance is not free.

  5. Rinse and repeat.

This continues to happen, over and again, all while Americans continue to suffer the consequences. Politicians who advocate for and support these self destructive policies sit in their offices with their suit and ties, while the burden falls upon hard working families struggling paycheck to paycheck.

Illegal immigrants continue to cut in line, walk into our country, and are given basic necessities like housing and subsidized groceries, all on the tax payer’s dime; while these tax payers—U.S. Citizen families—labor to make ends meet.

While American workers are hardly able to afford these basic necessities, illegal immigrants stroll into our Nation and are given these resources automatically.

This is the biggest disgrace to our Country I have ever seen, at the hands of Politicians who represent the interest of foreigners who are not even supposed to be here in the first place.

New York Times reports:

“Not one person asked anyone in this community how we felt about them coming in here and invading our city,” said one resident, Mike Powell.

The illegal immigration crises in Springfield, Ohio has even led to the displacement of some Americans from their homes.

Due to the rapid influx of illegals immigrants in their community, the prices of housing has gone up. This incentivized landlords to withdraw about 200 properties from a federal housing-voucher program for low-income families, because Haitians were willing to pay higher rent, according to Michelle Lee-Hall, executive director of Springfield’s housing authority.

“Here in Springfield, the new homeless are people who can’t afford to pay $2,000 or $3,000 a month in rent,” she said.

Democrats continue to protect the interests of illegal immigrants, and leave the concerns of U.S. Citizens in the shadows, sparking the outcry of many Americans across the Nation.

For example, an Ohio woman pleaded with local officials to make some changes, after revealing that she is being driven out of her home of 45 years because of migrant activity:

“I'm done with what I'm seeing,” the woman said in a voice trembling with emotion. “It is so unsafe in my neighborhood anymore.”
The resident, who gripped the sides of the lectern as she spoke, continued: “I have the homeless that were trying to camp out, and I have made concessions with them.”
She said that she “tried to help” these individuals, so that they would not try to 'squat' on her property.
“It is so unsafe,” she lamented. “I have men that cannot speak English in my front yard screaming at me, throwing mattresses...[and] throwing trash in my front yard.”
“Look at me,” the unhappy resident said, gesturing toward herself. “I weigh 95 pounds. I couldn't defend myself if I had to.”
Because of her fears, the woman revealed that her “elderly“ husband had decided that they would leave their home of 45 years.
“He said...’Guess what? It's time to pack up and move.'”

Abosolutely outrageous. How much longer are we going to take this until we start coming for the seats of Democrats who continue to ignore the lives of U.S. Citizens, and only seem to care for the people who do not belong here?

Now, more than ever before, is the time to call for the Mass Deportation of illegal immigrants and the retraction of Democrat policies that have only harmed the U.S. Citizen across the Nation.
