Non-Citizens, Felons On Texas Voter Rolls Removed

Republican Governor Greg Abbot successfully removed one million people, including thousands of non-citizens and felons, from the Texas Voter Rolls.

This was thanks to the execution of a 2021 Election Integrity law that was proposed to protect Texas elections.

Greg Abbott said this law “ensures trust and confidence in our elections system — and most importantly, it makes it easier to vote and harder to cheat.”

It also “creates uniform statewide voting hours, maintains and expands voting access for registered voters that need assistance, prohibits drive-through voting, and enhances transparency by authorizing poll watchers to observe more aspects of the election process. The bill also bans the distribution of unsolicited applications for mail-in ballots and gives voters with a defective mail-in ballot the opportunity to correct the defect.”

Republican Governor Greg Abbott also said “These reforms have led to the removal of over one million ineligible people from our voter rolls in the last three years, including noncitizens, deceased voters, and people who moved to another state.”

Many US Citizens have claimed that immigrants have been voting in our elections, and it seems they have been correct all along.

These are the numbers:

Over 6,500 non-citizen voters were found on the Texas Voter Rolls, and 1,930 of them have a voter history.

This is unacceptable and outrageous.

In Texas, it is a crime into lie about your citizenship when you register to vote. It is also a crime to help someone else do so. You can be sentenced up to two years in a state jail and pay up to a $10,000 fine.

It is a crime to vote in Texas if you are not a United States Citizen and a Texas Resident, or to help someone vote who is not. You can be sentenced up to 20 years in prison and pay up to a $10,000 fine.
